What Happens When Two People Want To Manifest The Same Thing

When you work with the Law of Attraction, you realize how much power you have to manifest everything you want into your life. But what happens when you are working on manifesting the same exact desire someone else is working to achieve, like a specific job or partner? And what happens when two people combine their desires, focusing on manifesting something for them, as a team? Let’s explore what happens when two people want the same thing.

As we have discussed, working with manifestation and the Law of Attraction is an internal process. You control your thoughts. You focus on your desires. Your intentions create your reality.

When you work with the Law of Attraction, it is vital to maintain trust and faith that the Universe is conspiring to bring you everything your heart desires. Keep the faith, even if you feel like there might only be one person, job, or home for you—and someone else is working on getting that exact thing. The Universe is full of ways to surprise you. Let it.

When Two People Want To Manifest The Same Thing

Are you blocking yourself?

If you manifest a competitor for the same exact thing you want, you have to take a look at your internal thoughts.

Ask yourself questions like:

Do I truly want this, or is it something I feel like I should want, but I don’t?

Am I worried that I will not be good enough?

Am I scared of what comes with it, like more responsibility, a higher mortgage, a move to a foreign country?

Are there issues that still need to be resolved or character traits you are focused on? For example, you really want your ex to come back, but they cheated, and you don’t want to go through the pain again.

Basically, you can block yourself from manifesting something by focusing on your fears and insecurities instead of your excitement. If you really don’t want something and all that goes along, you might also block yourself from manifesting it.

Manifesting a competitor or someone else to come in and steal something from you takes a great deal of pressure off of you, quite honestly. That way, you can tell yourself and the people around you that you didn’t get it because the other person was better, prettier, brighter, or something else.

What if the other person is more aligned with receiving this desire?

Sometimes, the other person is just more aligned with the thing you want to manifest. That is OK, too. So instead of cursing the Universe for being so mean to you, think about how something even better might be coming your way.

The Dalai Lama said, “Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.”

Often, when a little time has passed, you see that whatever you were working on manifesting wasn’t all you thought it was. You might find that the company you were wishing to get into filed for bankruptcy three months after you would have started working there, or the person you were interested in ended up in jail. The Universe protects us from our desires, especially if they are not what’s best for us in the long run.

Pick yourself off, dust yourself off, and get back into the game. Be grateful that you didn’t get the job, house, car, partner—whatever—and start thinking about the qualities or characteristics you are looking for.

Open up your manifestation practice to getting only the best. And then shift over to trusting that you will get the best, no matter what.

Do you trust the Universe?

If you KNOW right down to your soul that you want what you are working on manifesting, focus on getting it, even if there is only one and you do have a competitor. Trust in the Universe to grant your wishes; you might be surprised.

The Universe works in mysterious ways and can grant your wishes in many ways—even if you do not see the possibilities.

For example, if you and an equally qualified colleague are intent on getting the same job. You are both excellent manifestors and have used all manifestation tools you know of to get the job. Instead of being worried, you both trust in the Universe. The company sees a need for the expansion of the department and creates a second position! Both of you have successfully manifested your desired job!

Two people focused on getting the same thing.

If two or more people focus their collective energy on manifesting something, it amplifies the energy of their desire.

So, for example, you might want to sit down with your spouse and children to make a vision board for your dream house. Think about all of the features you want, including location and community, layout, your yard, and everything you want to have in the house. That way, you can all work on manifesting the exact same home.

You see, if everyone in the family has a different vision for what their dream house is, it might take longer to get a house that fits everyone’s wishes. Or that house might not exist because everyone wants something totally different!

If you’re all focused on one home that fits all of your desires, it’s far easier to manifest.

The same can go for a company fitting the collective energy of its employees and owners. When everyone is working toward manifesting a common goal, it has a much better chance of manifesting.

Conclusion

Working on manifesting the same thing as someone else wants can push your belief in the manifestation. On the one hand, you might not get what you want, which can be a blessing in disguise. But, on the other hand, you might be pleasantly surprised when the Universe opens up a second, better opportunity for you. The key is to continue to have faith.

And it is a good idea to combine your manifestation energy with others, especially if you are working toward a common goal. That helps amplify the effects of the Law of Attraction for everyone involved.
